Tariffs: $450 for one or two people for Friday and Saturday nights (minimum 2 nights); additional adults $45 per night, child $20 per night.
Otherwise $250 for the first night, one or two people, $150 thereafter ($1150 per week) and $40 each additional person, or $15 per child. Fairbank is wheelchair friendly.
No additional charges during holiday periods, although a minimum stay may be required.

What to expect
Fairbank House overlooks Parks Victoria's Maldon trail as it passes the Victorian Goldfields Railway (tickets arranged). The Penny School and Gallery is on the hill behind Fairbank, and there's a discount available for meals. Maldon's attractions are a ten-minute stroll, which is useful during one of its many festivals during the year. There's three outdoor areas, with front verandah and side covered deck (heated) overlooking Mount Alexander, and another tiled area just outside the kitchen next to the BBQ. Bathrooms consist of a bath with a shower for the main queen bedroom, a wetroom with wheelchair access for the second bedroom, and a full bathroom with spa for the twin bedroom. When vacant, Fairbank may be booked for seminars or workshops.
